Abstract

The fossil fuel application in energy production implies some shortages. The main of them is that the energy generating objects emit into the atmosphere large amounts of different gase sand other firing products. The application of renewable energy resourses for energy production is important when we try to diminish the expenses for imported fuel, to create additional work places, to improwe social and economic conditions of people as well as to pledge ourselves to realise obligations connected with signing the Kioto protocol, i.e. to diminish by 8 % the greenhouse gas emmission effect. The possible amount of heat energy is possible to obtain by using as fuel all the remains of felling trees. The quantities of pollutants produced by different fuels for obtaining the same amount of energy have been compared in the article.
