Noise is irregular, varying the strength and frequency of the sound waves of a mixture of unusual human hearing, resulting in discomfort, but the intensity is measured in decibels (dB). Noise is harmful to the health of environmental factors, resulting in specific and non-specific pathological changes in various systems of the body. It gives rise to auditory, nervous, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal diseases development. In this paper, I chose a topic that is very important in today's society, is "Noise-reducing measures of railway crossing access analysis and assessment". The level of noise is much higher at the crossings of motorways and railways than at motorways and railways individually (separately). Noise is an urgent problem not only in Lithuania but also in the world over. To evaluate the level of noise caused by motor and railway transport systems two places - Vilnius - Naujoji Vilnia crossings and Radviliškis railway station - were chosen. Simulation of noise was performed by EKOL Program in places where the level of noise had been measured and in the ones where it had not been measured, so as to compare the results. Visualization of the results of simulation was made by Surfer 6 Program. The results show that the level of noise exceeds the maximum permissible level of 70 dBA at a distance of 157,5 m from crossings. The permissible equivalent level of noise of 55 dBA is exceeded at all the measured points.
