Abstract (en)
Information visualization can be defined as the visualization and navigation of abstract data structures. Fundamental papers on information visualization appeared more than fifteen years ago. In approximately the past eight or ten years that the field began to emerge as a separate discipline. The ability of engineer to visualize and reason about geometric aspects of physical objects and process is crucial in the success of engineering activities. This visual reasoning capability is becoming more significant as the functionality and the usage of computer aided engineering systems increasing since visual user interactions for 3-D objects.
