Abstract (en)
85Kr is long-lived radioactive noble gas, with continiously increasing concentration in the atmosphere. The aim of this work is to compare 85Kr sorbation in the plants through their roots and leaves, to determine 85Kr radiation influence on the plants growth and development, to estimate noble gas desorbtion from water and air to the plants. There are some methods for investigating the sorbtion of 85Kr through leaves and roots of plants. 85Kr mass concentration dependence on its concentration in the water and in the chamber is determined. 85Kr adsorbtion and desorbtion processes in the plants are investigated. The influence of radiation to the plants is investigated when 85Kr participate in metabolism.
