Abstract (en)
Both the chromium transfer from electrode coating to fused metal and the influence of its amount on the transfer of other alloying elements were investigated. Research materials dealt with abrasive wear resistance of a coated layer due to chromium content. For investigation of the elements transfer from electrode coating to fused metal, the appropriate compositions of coated surfacing electrodes were set up. The obtained results allowed to estimate the peculiarities of the alloying elements transfer into a surfaced layer and to determine an influence of chromium content on the transfer of other alloying elements.
