Authors analyse the cruise shipping peculiarities of the seaports of Klaipeda and Riga because the cruise shipping in these ports are almost the same by natural conditions. However, number of calls and touristsare different. Research presents that the higher number of cruise tourists visit the seaport of Riga than the sea port of Klaipeda. When studying the cruise-shipping sector of the sea port of Klaipeda, it established that cruise shipping as a branch of tourism industry is at the stage of intensive development and situation modelling showed that alternative way for Klaipeda port could be to develop technical services of cruise ships in the port of Klaipeda.
