In this paper, the authors aim to describe a system of joint admission to Lithuanian higher schools that has already been used for several years in this country. The authors present the current Lithuanian higher education system and the criteria for selecting applicants to higher schools in Lithuania. The authors also discuss some problems of joint admission to Lithuanian higher schools. Statistical data reflecting the results of joint applicants' admission to the Lithuanian higher schools are also presented in this paper.
