The aim of this paper is to show on the example of media language the Lithuanian linguistic respond to the globalization process and to test whether the dynamic development of Lithuanian conform to common linguistic networking processes. In the article the attempt is made to clarify the relationship between culture and language. The research methods are the empirical and analytical ones, based on the observational data of the last ten years.
