Altruizmo fenomenas: retrospektyva, moderniosios koncepcijos ir prosocialus elgesys

Abstract

The article deals with the phenomenon of altruism and reviews it's retrospection, modern conceptions and prosocial behavior. Scientists actualize the strategic task of upbringing of altruism of modern youth, however systematic, complex scientific researches, which analyze the structure of altruism and typology, altrtuism-egoism dichotomy and possibility of synthesis, empiric data of research of prosocial behaviour, are missing. This article analyses the development of altruism, modern conceptions of altruism, some data of sociologic research of prosocial behaviour in Lithuania, West Europe and USA. The person's welfare is very important for the upbringing of the altruism. The elderly generation takes care of social status and resources, but the youngests take care of relations in the society and prefer to act prosocially, because of the better maintenance. Empathy is considered as the main factor of the upbringing of the altruism. The sociocultural factors are school, the centres of psychological help, media and literature.
