This paper deals with evaluation of logistic connectivity of short sea shipping and Klaipeda port in the context of sustainable development. During the analysis of scientific sources, the factors of logistic connectivity of short sea shipping lines and ports influencing sustainable development were identified, and a bilateral model was developed. Analysing the Lithuanian logistics connectivity index, a large increase of them from 13.95 to 23.22 in 2017-2018 was identified. Lithuania's connection with Polish and German ports was analysed. The authors found out that Lithuania has the lowest liner connection index. The Polish liner connection index increased by 113% over the whole analysis period. Of all the countries analysed, Germany has the highest connectivity index. Regarding the principles of sustainable development, the authors compared the availability of marine fuel in the ports of Klaipeda, Hamburg and Gdansk.
