There are many attempts to define and evaluate national competitiveness, but still there is no accredited theory and classification of the factors. Many organizations are presenting national competitiveness evaluation reports in which using different evaluation methodologies, factors sets. Thought most of these reports have limitations policymakers still can get view about competitiveness of countries. This paper reviews factors influencing national competitiveness, identifies the essential factors for Lithuania’s competitiveness and analyses its current conditions.
