Abstract (en)
Both the static and fatigue resistance of weld metal and structural safety of welding joints subjected to permanent, cyclic and episodic loading are under consideration. The theoretical indexes of prior and posterior probabilistic reliability of steel structures are obtained by the application of the theory of probability and exclude any estimation of structural failures due to human errors.
