A certain amount of lime is often replaced by Portlandcement and vice verso during porous or cellular concrete production. The same amounts of these binders during autoclave curing react with quartz and form different amounts of calcium hydrosilikate. That is why one must calculate thier equivalent amounts. The main criterion chosen was the product's comparable compression strength values for the determination of these amounts. It was found, that according to the formed samples (without aluminium powder) when finely milled sand is used the silicate mixture activity must be increased. For example, if the sand's surface area is equal to 340 m2/kg, then the largest compression strength is when the mixtures activity reaches 27 %. One must increase the mixture's activity when porous concrete density is decreased According to the silicate mixture activity, six equations are given for tire calculation of equivalent lime amounts for the replacement Portlandcement by lime.
