The proposed three-dimensional finite element model is used for solving elastic-plastic problem of SENB specimen. The material nonlinear problem has been solved in incremental manner from the begining till the fixed value of loading. The variation of constraint factors and SIF in a plate trough thickness is examined. The geometry of the plastic zone on the peak of the notch has been calculated numerically.
