More and more impressive buildings with all-glass facades are being built recently. Glass-and-aluminium facades are increasingly being used in pursuance of having more natural light inside of the building. Architecture of this type is being applied both in vertical and oblique facades, or roofs. On purpose to cover big openings with this kind of constructions it is necessary to constrain their deformations – deflections. Since these constructions are very flexible, the only way to increase rigidity is to set up of a sub-system. Depending on their length and position sub-systems can be triangle, trapezium or rectangular. This article presents the results of experimental research and numeric modelling of two subsystems used for aluminium-glass facades system.
