The technique of investigation of magnetic fields induced by the LCD monitors by applying the personal computer audio system and the developed software in the MATLAB program package environment is presented. The magnetic field on the screen surface induced by the LCD monitor and the magnetic field intensity decrease character by increasing the distance from the monitor screen have been investigated as well as the magnetic induction has been calculated. It has been determined that the magnetic induction of the LCD monitor with an external power supply is almost 4 times lower than that of the CRT monitor and almost 3 times lower than that of the LCD monitor with an internal power supply. The spectrum of induced magnetic fields is discrete and ranges up to 5000 Hz.
