Abstract (en)
The research examines the amount of pozzolanic waste as a cement substitute for the structure and properties of cement stone. The main material of the pozzolanic waste is SiO2 – up to 43.8%, with an average particle size of 10.37 μm. Six batches of samples were formed, with pozzolanic waste replacing cement from 0% to 10%. The density, ultrasonic pulse velocity, compression and flexural strength, and the microstructure of the cement stone samples were obtained. Cement stone with 6% replacement cement with pozzolanic waste can be used as an alternative in producing sustainable concrete, because of his greater strength and density.
