Phosphogypsum consists of gypsum dehydrate (95-98% of dry material), waste of appatite (2%). 1-6% ortophosphoric acid, also 1,8-5,7% of calcium, aluminium and ferric fluoride and phosphate. As far as phosphogypsum, found in terricons and being affected by some atmospheric factors has great amount of water (32,5-42,1% of total mass), some fluoride ions and phosphoric acid harmful for flora and fauna get into the ground together with water. It could be seen from the results of investigations that the binding material, obtained from phosphogypsum by high-temperature method has the properties of low strength anhydrous cement, it could be used in general fields of cement utilisation while producing concrete and plasters with sand, also mosaic and terrace floors, bases over linoleum, heat isolating materials, slag-concrete blocks, artificial marble and decorative articles.
