This paper explores an organizational change management practice in Lithuanian companies. The paper presents an empirical study examining national and international companies. The organizational change management is to be seen as creative process, demanding the highest managerial competence. Hence, the objective of empirical study is to explore internal and external factors that influence organizational change process and evaluate effectiveness of change process in Lithuanian companies. The obtained results allow concluding that situation in the market and demand to increase productivity are the main factors influencing organizational change process. At the end of the paper, the results of the survey are summarized and the conclusions are presented.
