Abstract (en)

A number of finite element computer programmes including COSMOS/M are used for structural analysis in Lithuania. Programme COSMOS/M has a powerful modelling and analysis facilities. However, up till now with the help of the programme COSMOS/M it was not possible to compute reinforcement of concrete structures. The author has expanded possibilities of the programme COSMOS/M. The new technology for computation of reinforced-concrete slab, wall, shell, beam and column reinforcement was created. Computation of reinforcement now can be carried out according to the results of analysis under the programme COSMOS/M and requests of code valid in Lithuania. Now by means of programme COSMOS/M and the new technology it is possible to compute reinforcement of extremely complicated reinforced concrete structures. Slab, wall and shell reinforcement intensities can be visualized.
