The aim of the study is to analyse the homogeneity problem of hot mix asphalt (HMA) used in road pavement. The article presents the algorithm of prognostication of mineral part composition of HMA, which takes into consideration the variation of mineral material cumulative percent passing through control sieves in the finite dosing. It is considered that percent passing errors are independent random quantities, distributing according to the normal law. The original algorithm for the simulation of these quantities is used. The mineral material grading of the batches of HMA is selected through the use of the random number generator. When changing the grading of cold imported fillers, reclaimed dust and five hot aggregate fractions according to the algorithm proposed, the statistical characteristics of HMA composition are obtained. To evaluate the homogeneity of the simulated lot of HMA batches, reference is made to requirements of guideline of construction R 35-01. The mathematical programming method is applied in the proposed methodology; software is developed and the calculated experiment is carried out.
