The text highlights historical development of morphology and functional characteristics of the sacral spaces in Vilnius Old Town. Characteristics of the churches' courtyards and cemeteries of the Catholic, Jewish, Russian Orthodox, Lutheran Evangelists and Evangelic Reformers, their spatial interrelation during the 20th century are revealed. Dramatic changes in Vilnius urban cultural value in relation with descruction of this system are analyzed. The text emphasizes necessity of architectural marking and respectable use of destroyed sacral spaces.
