The paper deals with the actual problems of Lithuanian urban system in the aspect of BSR urban network. Author emphasizes positive importance of consecutively diminishing size of the biggest local cities, their vicintry to the main transport corridors of BSR and especially unique and favourable geographical situation of two largest country's cities Vilnius and Kaunas [...].
