The article deals with the analysis of the influence of the parameters of elevation modeling on to the accuracy of the compiled DEM. The research has been carried out regarding the management of the elevation modeling process using multi criteria analysis model, for selecting the parameters and for determining the weight. By using different methods there have been compiled DEMs as well as the DEMS have been compared in between afterwards. The influence of the parameters on to the accuracy of DEM applying the method of kriging for surface modeling has been evaluated. It has been determined that the greatest influence has exhibited the semivariogram type. The less significant turned to be the number of neighboring points, nugget and trend. By using circular semivariogram in calculations there has been obtained the most precise elevation model. The most accurate result has been obtained by using 12 neighboring points to find out the unknown height values.
