A force field during cylindrical grinding in analyzed on the base of a hydrodynamic theory. Using this hydrodynamic theory equations are obtained for calculating the pressure distribution, by the help of which the ratio of cutting forces in determined. Parameters of the system tested are choosen in such a way that taken an acceptable presumptions the relationship between cutting force components would be possible to determine. [...].
