Abstract (en)
Design criterions of digital topographic signs are analysed. They are based on the research results of some sets of the topographic signs. It was investigated the sets of topographic signs of Lithuania, United Kingdom, Russia and Poland. Totally the twelve criterions were analysed. Some criterions- colourfulness, crearness of the basic point, transparency- are typical only in the digital cartography. It was suggested to apply these criterions to the new set of digital topographic signs, which should be introduce in the corresponding state regulations.
