In 1993 questioning of inhabitants was carried out in Vilnius. Main task of this questioning was to determinate parameters of inhabitants mobility in separate districts. More than 8000 questionnaire form were distributed and approximately 5500 correct answers were received. These data represent 90% mobility of Vilnius inhabitants. "Modal split" was made according to travel time. Major parametres of mobility are as follows: average trip time for separate transport types, number of trips distribution in twenty - four hours, transportation matrix for all transport types between Vilnius districts. Common parameters for Vilnius were calculated and were compared with the results of inhabitants questioning in 1981.
