Abstract (en)
The reliability with respect to the plastic collapse of rigid frame structures is estimated by radial sampling in the load-space. This simulation method is comb with the static formulation of the limit equilibrium method. The radial sampling : especially suitable for the reliability analysis of an elastoplastic frame because the lo direction and distribution vector of the frame may be expressed as a radial direction ‘ the load-space. It is shown that relative small probabilities of plastic collapse may estimated by the proposed method.
