Rapid development of industry and urbanization increases the degree of environmental pollution. The problems of every branch of industry with respect to environmental pollution are rather specific. The naval cargo company “AB KLASCO” faces the problems caused by some physical factors. The noise in the working zone of the fertilizers terminal exeeds the limits fixed in the hygiene norm HN 33-1:2003 by 10–24 dBA. One of effective and unusual ways to reduce the noise is to install bulk sound absorbers of rectangular shape. By spacing such sound absorbers properly, it is possible to reduce the noise level by 14 up to 18 dBA in the frequency range of 250–1 000 Hz.
