The final master's thesis analyses the use of foam glass in a construction ceramic comb. The theoretical part examines the scientific literature: about building ceramics, its properties, areas of application; composition and properties of plastic raw materials; types of additives and their effect on ceramics; foam glass properties. The methodological part describes the raw materials used for the test, the technology of sample formation and the test methods. In the experimental part, the effect of different fractions of foam glass on the ceramic comb was investigated: the determination of the drying and total shrinkage of the samples was performed; their density and impregnation were determined under normal conditions and by cyclic vacuuming; determination of capillary suction of samples under normal conditions and by vacuuming was performed; the predicted operational resistance to cold was calculated, and the ultrasonic pulse propagation velocity of the samples was determined. The work consists of 6 parts: introduction, literature analysis, research methodology, experimental part, conclusions, references.
