Organizational culture is recognized as a critical driver of sustained competitive advantage. In contemporary scholarly discourse, it is progressively conceptualized as a strategic and adaptive system that supports innovation, organizational agility, and long-term employee engagement. Although academic interest in this domain has increased, relatively few studies have systematically integrated these dimensions to explain how the digitalization of work processes, communication, and decision-making is reshaping cultural patterns within organizations. The aim of this article is to identify the major transformations in the concept of organizational culture by examining its early historical foundations and tracing its evolution through to contemporary expressions characteristic of organizations in the digital era. The study is based on a systematic literature review and theoretical analysis of existing research. The major value of this paper is a comprehensive perspective on the temporal transformation of organizational culture. This paper contributes to the existing research by identifying several distinct and increasingly emerging forms of organizational culture. In particular, ethical culture, agile culture, digital culture, and learning culture have been identified as prominent directions in the recent literature reviewed. Nevertheless, contemporary conceptualizations of organizational culture include key elements of classical approaches, including shared values, beliefs, and attitudes.

The method for calculating the specific conductivity tensor of an anisotropically conductive medium, proposed in this paper, distinguishes itself by the simplicity of physical measurements: it suffices to make an equally thick rectangle-shaped sample with four electrodes fixed on its sides and to take various measurements of current intensity and differences of potentials. The necessary mathematical calculations can be promptly performed, even without using a complex computing technique. The accuracy of the results obtained depends on the dimensions of the sample and on the ratios of the conductivity tensor components.

This study deals with the particularities of structure formation and hydration of the complex binder, which consists of liquid glass, metallurgical slag and high aluminate cement (Al2O3 > 70 %). According to the ultrasonic and exothermal temperature results, it was determined that due to the reaction between liquid glass and dicalcium silicate the highest hardening intensity was found in the first 20 minutes; however, the hydration of cement takes place much later, i.e. in the hardened structure. SEM investigations of the complex binder showed that its structure is dominated by areas where cement particles are joined by nanostructures (<50 nm) of the products formed during the reaction between liquid glass and hardener, and that the surface of most cement particles is coated by layers of nanoparticles sized from 30 nm up to 100 nm, i. e. the products of cement hydration.

A necessity to use probability-based formats in design practice of pile foundations as highly-reliable structures is underlined. The specific features of the bearing capacity of piles in groups and principles of their structural safety prediction are discussed. Probability-based approaches and design equation for structural safety prediction of axially loaded piles in groups exposed to regular and extreme irregular variable actions are presented. The survival probabilities of single piles and pile group blocks are considered. It is shown that the total survival probability of pile foundations may be calculated by the unsophisticated method of transformed conditional probabilities. The numerical example illustrates a merit of the probability-based design of pile foundations and a conditionality of the deterministic method of partial safety factors.

A family of novel dimetric carbazole hydrazones hole transport materials was developed and evaluated for electrophotography. The general structure of the family (shown below) enables us to make several derivatives with different R group substituents on the carbazole and different x linkage groups that connects the two hydrazone moieties...

Optimization techniques pierced through many chapters of OR, because their utilization “facilitates the choice and the implementation of more effective solutions which, typically, may involve complex interactions among people, materials and money problems” (www.euro-online.org). The latter challenge stimulates a study of existing techniques as well as development of new concepts for optimization. Conference EurOPT-2008 aims at a more exhaustive study of optimization and optimal decision making towards knowledge-based technologies. The scope of the International conference “Continuous Optimization and Knowledge-Based Technologies” is to overview trends, to gain a common attitude towards latest challenges in continuous optimization and advanced applications for knowledge-based technologies, such as robust optimization, optimization in finance, supply chain management and data mining. We wish to contribute to education in Europe and the world, and to a deepening and initializing of scientific collaboration in the family of EURO and among our peoples.

The paper considers the evaporation of volatile organic compounds (VOC) at a port oil terminal. The experimental data and metrological conditions are examined (air temperature and humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind force and direction) on the basis of the transfer operations and the types of oil products. The experimental results are compared with monitoring values, which indicate the ranges in air humidity, wind force, and atmospheric pressure that do not influence the VOC concentration in the environment.
